The EACD offers coaching days, whereby qualified speakers offer an intensive training session, in the form of workshops, for communicators interested in learning in depth about a particular aspect of communications.
The upcoming Coaching Day, held in Brussels, will focus on the Design Thinking methodology and will take place on November 16, 2015 from 18:00 to 20.30 at the Federation of European Accountants.
Every day we are faced with challenges, big and small that need solutions. How can we combine our analytical power with our creative originality to come up with innovative solutions every time? What processes and tools can you use to bring innovation on? In this fast paced, hands on, experiential workshop, you will get an insight into the Design Thinking process.
Who is this for? This session will be useful for any senior communications managers who need to come up with innovative solutions in their teams and organisations.
What to expect? The Workshop will cover three key areas:
1. The mindset and context – We are all creative. How can we release the creativity in ourselves and the teams we manage?
2. What is the Design Thinking process? – Get on a journey that leads you from challenges to understanding, framing problems, drawing insights, spotting opportunities, coming up with ideas beyond the obvious, visualising ideas through prototyping, and using the prototypes to test and refine your solutions.
3. Apply Design Thinking to your projects – Practice and create the confidence to apply the process to your context and challenges.
