Vice President, Group Brand Management – DER Touristik (part of REWE Group). Responsible for the brand portfolio of Germany’s second biggest tourism company, Lars‘ focus includes the launch of a new brand system and brand management structure. Lars was previously Head of Brand Transformation at Deutsche Telekom where he was the central counterpart for the adaptation and global implementation of their CI/CD. Outside of work, he also lectures on corporate & product branding at Cologne University.
Leading expert in international and domestic franchising, licensing and multi-channel strategy. Mark is an international thought-leader in franchising, working across a number of sectors, including retail and consumer and international education. Mark has a PhD in Franchising and has written 13 books in this field, including the EU Parliament’s IMCO Report on Franchising. He also appears in the Who’s Who of Franchising (published by LBR.)
Chief Executive Officer of VIM Group. As founder of VIM Group, Marc has been responsible for its global expansion and for developing the business into a leading brand transition firm – working with a range of clients, from well-known multinational companies representing a variety of sectors, to non-profit organisations.
Marc is author of Future Proof Your Brand, he is an accomplished speaker and blogger on various global platforms.
He is the country chair of A.W. Page Society for Germany and The Netherlands, and ambassador of the working group on Brand Leadership of the European Association of Communication Directors, and a member of the advisory board of Communication Director magazine.
