EACD Webinar: An Analysis of Politico Reporter's Social Media Footprint

"Politico and German publisher Axel Springer are acquiring the website and weekly newspaper European Voice and rebranding it as the European edition of the political website. –" This headline in the FT​ announced a huge shift in the Brussels Media bubble last December and when the doors of opened the media and media relations landscape had drastically changed. Today the Arlington based company has "more reporters in the two main political and regulatory centers of the world - Washington and Brussels - than any other publication".

But how are these reporters doing online? What is their social media footprint? How big is the role of social media for EACD Working Group Coordinator Philippe Borremans is inviting all members to a webinar analysing Politico reporter's social media footprint which will take place on July 9th 2015 from 4.00pm to 5.00pm (CET).

We are happy to welcoming our speaker Simon McDermott: Simon began his career with 6 years of Business Development for Cisco Systems and Intel Corporation. After his MBA at the Vlerick School in Leuven he went on to co-found Attentio in Brussels, a pioneer in social media listening technology. He now helps organisations derive political and brand insight from social media by working with the best tools to analyse and measure the leading social networks. He is also very involved in the European start-up scene and is director of high growth start-ups and a mentor for the Founder Institute and Gdansk Start-Up Incubator. The Webinar will take place on Thursday, July 9th, beginning at 4.00pm (CET) and running for an hour.
