On behalf of the European Association of Communications Directors (EACD), and the Regional Coordinators, Dr. Martha Theodorou and Dimitris Venetidis, we are delighted to invite you to our upcoming Regional Debate in Athens, Greece.

The event will be held on Thursday, 21st of November, 2013, from 5pm to 8pm at the EGG Building (190 Sygrou Avenue).

We will be discussing the topic “The power of storytelling. Build stories that support your brand” and we are pleased to announce the following speakers:

– Dimitrios Roulias, Managing Director, OUT OF THE BOX PR

Dimitris was born in Athens in 1966. He graduated from the Experimental School of the University of Athens (Peiramatiko) and then went on to study Physics at the University of Athens; this was followed by post-graduate studies in Astrophysics, at the same University. He began his professional career in the Mass Media and Communication market as a edition consultant at Computer Software/Chip magazine. Consequently he worked for IBM Hellas for 6 years where he held the position of Communication Director, responsible for the company’s communication strategy and Media Relations. In 1999 he joined the Bold Ogilvy group, first as the Managing Director of Ogilvy Interactive (1999-2002) and later of OgilvyOne (2002-2005). He is the Managing Director of Out of the Box since January 2008.

– Manos Sifonios, General Manager, Run Communications

Manos Sifonios ran a Marathon in 2002. Before the marathon, he studied Biology in Patras University, took postgraduate lessons in Food & Wine Technology, was employed as a scientific collaborator in the field of Health, studied Journalism and Directing and worked both as a journalist and production manager in TV. He entered the Communications Industry, providing counseling services for large companies and organizations.  After the Marathon he founded Run Communications in 2004; a PR company specialized in Health and Technology communications and he gained recognition through teaching on Media Training and Crisis Management. He writes regularly articles in newspapers or magazines and has published four books. He plans to run another Marathon during the next decade.

After the presentations there will be an interactive discussion based on the topic of the event.
