A breakfast networking event to mark the hotly anticipated launch of the EACD in Romania on 21 February!

Join us for an in-person breakfast networking event featuring presentations and discussion on Machine Learning & AI in the field of Corporate Communication and Public Relations.

The event will be introduced and moderated by the EACD Country Lead for Romania, Luciana Petrescu. Our speakers at the first EACD Romania event are Bogdan Ciubotaru, Managing Partner of Aliant, Gerd Bommer, Head of Advantage Austria Romania, Ana-Maria Stancu,CEO of Bucharest Robots, Daniel MitroiIBM Enterprise Architect and EACD Board Member Andrew Hillier.

The rise of AI is emerging as the key theme for the communications, PR and corporate affairs sector in 2023. This event promises to provide a fascinating insight into current developments in AI and machine learning and where the technology is taking us.

Bios of the speakers:

Bogdan Ciubotaru, Managing Partner of Aliant

He is a C-level executive with over 18 years of experience in industries such as IT/Software, Telecom, Online Market Research and Business Consulting. He managed multinational, medium-size and entrepreneurial companies with revenues ranging from 1 to over 50 million Euros and 1,000 employees and coordinated diverse teams and complex projects, with global footprint. Bogdan is always interested in new ways of achieving business objectives and believes in the power of innovation and creativity, fuelled by the transformational potential that lies in the diversity of perspectives. Bogdan graduated from the Academy of Economic Studies, Faculty of Commerce and Marketing and EMBA program ASEBUSS in cooperation with Kennesaw State University, Atlanta, USA.

 

Gerd Bommer, Head of Advantage Austria Romania

He is experienced in working with international customers and suppliers, both at national and multinational levels. Gerd has broad expertise in product and services development, as well as sales and business development and he is experienced in organizing complex and global activities. One can portray him as an achiever and closer to the motto: never give up!

 

 

 

Andrew Hillier, EACD Board Member

He is the founder and Managing Director of Ballinger Equine and Director of Communications at Ah! Formerly Chief Communications Officer with UK regional and city government, including Aberdeenshire and Westminster, he also served as Director of Communications at the South-East England Development Agency (SEEDA). With experience in the fossil fuel, nuclear energy and security sectors, Andrew was later communications adviser to the UK Forensic Science Service and London’s Metropolitan Police. A member of the Chartered Institute of Journalists, he is a former CIPR National Council Member and is currently a Board Director of the UK’s Veterinary Management Group.

 

Ana-Maria Stancu, CEO of Bucharest Robots

Ana-Maria is CEO of Bucharest Robots, the first Romanian start-up in the field of humanoid, service robots and automation. She is also the founder of RoboHub – a resource center for digital education. Ana-Maria is an advocate of automation, does training for companies and public officers and engages in debates on the social-economic implications of new technologies such as robotics and AI.

 

 

Daniel Mitroi, IBM Enterprise Architect

Daniel is a Senior Enterprise specialist/advisor with Strategic Solution Architect and Product Management background aiming to leverage his skills for process analysis and business solution development illustrated over 15 years of industry success. Ambitious and diligent with a drive for perpetuating the cloud and AI adoption for all-size companies. He holds a Ph.D. in AI and he was awarded 2 times at Salon International des Inventions de Genève for the research performed during his Ph.D. time.
