Meet the speaker
Lisa Gibby, Deputy Executive Vice President and Chief Communications Officer, Nestlé.
Alongside her role at Nestlé, Lisa is also a member of Nestlé S.A.’s Executive Board and the company’s ESG & Sustainability Council. As a seasoned communications leader, she is passionate about telling the stories of the people behind the business – from the agronomists helping cocoa farmers to the nutrition experts working to make foods healthier.
Lisa has led global Corporate Communications at Nestlé since July 2022. She is responsible for building trust and partnership through media relations, public affairs, corporate digital content, and internal communications.
Working closely with the company’s communications teams across 186 markets, she helps advance Nestlé’s public affairs and communications strategy and initiatives by connecting with communities, policymakers, NGOs, journalists, and consumers.

Axel is Managing Director of Shepard Fox Communications, a gobal PR agency specialising in content creation and cross-border media relations. He has worked in corporate communications, PR, journalism, and advertising for 20 years. Prior to founding Shepard Fox Communications in 2008, he was Global PR Director & Corporate Spokesperson of the Adecco Group in Zurich. Before that he was Head of Global Media Relations & Corporate Spokesperson at Siemens AG in Munich for the mobile communications group. Axel has graduate degrees in Economics and Business from German and US universities, respectively. He has worked in the US, the UK, Germany and Switzerland.
He was one of the founding members of the EACD in 2006 and has been a Regional Coordinator for Switzerland ever since.
