On Wednesday 18 November at 12.30pm BST / 1.30pm CET, epresspack and the EACD will be joined by Léa Wertheimer, Head of Corporate Communications at SWISS, for a practical discussion on how communications teams can operate in an increasingly transparent, fast-moving and unpredictable environment. Drawing on her experience in aviation, Léa will explore how real-time information, social media and AI-generated content are changing the way organisations manage trust, respond to incidents and communicate when events are unfolding in public.
The session will also look at the changing role of Corporate Communications itself: from reacting to events and managing media relations to becoming a broader communications competence centre across the organisation. Topics will include proactive communication, transparency, misinformation and fake imagery, the importance of clear and human communication, and how communications teams can build trust and influence internally while demonstrating their value to leadership.
