The challenges of globalisation, technological change, immigration issues, the rise of populism, Brexit, the election of Donald Trump in the US, to name a few. There is talk of fake news and loss of trust in institutions and business. Politics, business, work, civil society, family life – all are impacted by unpredictable forces in new and challenging ways.

Phil Riggins of the Brand & Reputation Collective has partnered with the EACD to conduct a research project to understand how senior communications professionals view communications in an age of radical uncertainty (take the survey here). The findings of the quantitative research will serve as a starting point for a panel discussion and audience Q&A moderated by Marco Magli, EACD Regional Coordinator Italy, on the rapidly changing operating environment and the challenges this poses to communicators.
