On behalf of our Working Group “Corporate Social Responsibilty”, our Coordinator Pierluigi Orati, Director of CSR & Sustainability, Humanitarian Water and Food Organisation, cordially invites all members and interested peers to discuss the increasing trend of investing responsibly. We look forward to welcoming two expert speakers, namely Edoardo Gai, Head of Sustainability Services, RobecoSam, and Filippo Cecchi, Founding Partner and Communication & Public Affairs Director, Standard Ethics Ltd.

Attendants will enjoy  exclusive presentations of the latest research results on the increasing trend of Investing responsibly, conducted in two sessions by RobecoSAM and Standard Ethics.  RobecoSam was founded as the first asset manager focused exclusively on Sustainability Investing. Standard Ethics is a London-based rating company issuing the Standard Ethics Rating: the first European rating on Corporate Social Responsibility and Corporate Governance. Our speakers will present us their history, their current practices and their future plans. After the end of the presentations, there will be a Q&A session.

About the speakers:
Edoardo Gai is Head of Sustainability Services at RobecoSAM (former SAM Sustainable Asset Management), He created this unit 2006 to answer the companies’ need on information and know-how on sustainability issues.He joined RobecoSAM in 2000 as analyst for the ICT sector, he later became responsible for the process to collect and evaluate the sustainability data, as well as the selection process for the DJSI. Edoardo was also Co-Head of RobecoSAM Indexes in 2009-10. Previously, Edoardo worked for Triodos NV in the Netherlands as sustainability analyst and for SiRi Group when it was just created. He started his career at HMT microelectronic, after graduating with a master degree in electronic engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Switzerland (ETH).
Filippo Cecchi, Founding Partner and Communication & Public Affairs Director, Standard Ethics Ltd. After graduating, Filippo joined Agenzia Europea d’Investimenti in 2002, what today is Standard Ethics. He has ten years of experience in corporate social responsibility and corporate governance, spanning from research, rating, communication and public affairs. Filippo has a BA in Business Administration and a MSci degree in Marketing from University of Florence. He recently earned an MBA at HKUST in Hong Kong.
