Ana Margarida Ximenes

Ana is the Portugal Corporate Affairs Senior Director of LLYC. She is also Professor at the School of Postgraduate and Advanced training of the Faculty of Human Sciences at the Catholic University of Portugal and invited Professor at AESE Business School. She was Managing Director of the Portuguese Security Association. Previously, Ana was President and Co-Founder of Atrevia in Portugal, and later Partner of Lift. Ana has some 25 plus years experience assisting clients on crisis communication, reputation and change management, public affairs, corporate communications, brand & marketing management. Ana holds a Degree in Social Communications from Universidade do Minho, with a specialization in journalism, production, editing & audiovisual; and a Business Management Degree (PDE) from AESE Business School. In 2009 Ana was elected one of the Most Motivating People in Portugal by Business School ISCTE. Along with Portugal’s Foreign Ministry & the Ibero-American Secretary General, was recognized with an award by IPDAL for the Promotion & Development of LATAM in Portugal. Ana is also a Member of IABC (International Association of Business Communicators), after serving as Vice-Chair, Chair and Past Chair. She was also a Founding member of the Internal Communications Observatory (OCI), Board Member of the Portuguese Spanish Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCILE), and EMEA Vice-Chair of PROI Worldwide for 6 years (2009-2015). She is a judge of awards such as: European Excellence Awards, Digital Communication Awards and Stevie Awards, among others.
