Luciana-Elena Petrescu

I am a seasoned senior communications professional, currently the Romania Country Chapter Lead for the European Association of Communication Directors (EACD). I specialized in corporate communications and reputation management, as well as in behavior analysis and evaluation, by becoming a profiler. Profiling offers a strategic advantage both in business and in risk-prevention contexts, where early identification of behavioral patterns can reduce exposure to conflict, manipulation and high-stakes decision errors. My professional track record took me into different strategic roles, such as Head of Public Relations for HS Timber, Head of Public Relations of RoPower Nuclear—the development company for the SMR Doicești project in Romania—and Director of Communication, Sustainability and Investor Relations within Nuclearelectrica. I have worked extensively in the wood processing, energy, downstream, real estate, health insurance and mining sectors. At this point, I focus on my higher purpose, which is giving back to people by mentoring and inspiring others to achieve their potential and reach their calling. I am one of the mentors in the EACD Connector mentorship program and I also do one-to-one work with people who seek out my counselling and training.
