Position:
Head of Communications

Vanessa Pavinato

With a background in multilingual communication obtained in Italy in the Nineties, Vanessa freelanced for 8 years before entering the world of event management for no-profit organisations. At a time when politically correct was just a "label", she helped organisations supporting people with disabilities change the public perception and obtain meaningful results. That marked a turning point in her professional life.

After one additional year as a consultant, Vanessa officially joined the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) in 2003, where she is Head of Communications. ESMO is a leading medical professional organization, representing over 40,000 professionals globally. Having worked for more than 20 years in the field, she has witnessed some of the most critical developments and evolutions that have impacted both the organization and communications.
